Community organizations and members are proud to offer partial and full scholarships to make the Future Milwaukee program available to individuals who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

To apply for any of the scholarships you will need to:
  1. Provide a current copy of your resume with this application.
  2. Fill out the attached data form.
  3. Provide two letters of recommendation from people other than the two you provided for admittance to the Future Milwaukee Program.
  4. An answer not to exceed 2-3 paragraphs for the following:
    • How are you currently involved in the community?
    • How will you use what you hope to gain in Future Milwaukee to better your community?
    • Please provide your reason(s) for applying for the scholarship.


Please send all of the above by June 30, 2008.

QTI Scholarship (full scholarship)

The QTI Group is one of the oldest Human Resource organizations in Wisconsin (1957). As a Wisconsin-based organization, we have always made a commitment to the community through direct active engagement on the part of our internal team and support of programs in the area.

The QTI Scholarship is designed to provide a fully paid scholarship for a person of color who has demonstrated a steadfast, contiguous commitment to the community and currently lacks the resources and means to personally afford the tuition costs.

As a result, we will evaluate the applications on:
  1. Previous demonstrable community involvement initiatives and participation
  2. The desire to learn about leadership and community service as a lifelong pursuit
  3. Applicant's demonstrated need for financial assistance


Marquette Scholarship (full scholarship)

Marquette University College of Professional Studies shares the vision of Future Milwaukee through its mission and commitment to develop ethical leaders for our greater Milwaukee community.

The Marquette University College of Professional Studies Scholarship is designed to provide a fully paid tuition scholarship for a person of color who holds a position of leadership in our education community associated with one of Milwaukee's Charter Schools.

We will evaluate the applications based on:
  1. The applicants demonstrated commitment to the education of our community
  2. The applicants desire to learning about leadership and community service as a lifelong pursuit
  3. The applicants demonstrated need for financial assistance for participation in Future Milwaukee
 
Gwen Jackson Scholarship Application (partial scholarship)

This scholarship is named for Gwendolyn Jackson, a lifelong volunteer who has had a tremendous impact on the Milwaukee community. The Gwen Jackson Scholarship will be awarded to an individual who has a demonstrated dedication to serving the community in which they live.

We will evaluate the applications based on:
  1. The applicant’s demonstrated community service
  2. The applicant’s desire to learning about leadership and community service as a lifelong pursuit
  3. The applicant’s demonstrated need for financial assistance for participation in Future Milwaukee
