Shawn Hansbrough is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She attended Mother of Perpetual Help (MPH), Rufus King High School, went on to UW-Whitewater for an undergraduate experience, and completed her graduate studies at Alverno College.  She is currently a Senior Training & Development Specialist at We-Energies.

Shawn really enjoys the many aspects of food and culture that Milwaukee has to offer.  She enjoys listening to all types of music, especially jazz and her favorites include Will Downing, Jon B, and Euge Groove.  She also spends free time with family & friends, traveling the world, trying new restaurants, and shoe shopping!  She is involved with her community as a mentor to youth through YMCA Black Achievers.  Additionally, Shawn is involved with her church, through service club activities and is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  My participation in the Future Milwaukee Program will build professional relationships, and build other networking opportunities to enhance my leadership abilities within my community.
