Keisha Robinson is currently employed at Independence First as an Administrative Assistant.  She also has a passion for working with youth in the community, helping them to reach their full potential.  She has volunteered with the Girl Schools and the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra in which her daughter plays the violin.  She has also been involved with the African American Women’s Club (AAWC), a newly formed nonprofit women’s club dedicated to promoting personal and professional growth.  In addition, the AAWC’s objective is to reach out to the community and be utilized as a resource.  This model for women of all walks of life is designed to help “bridge the gap” in areas of women’s lives by becoming well-balanced.  She is also currently working with two individuals to create a nonprofit agency for teen girls entitled A New Era of Women (ANEW).  This agency will provide disadvantaged youth with courses such as job training, etiquette, life skills, and more.
