Milwaukee native and resident, committed to enhancing the future of Milwaukee socially, culturally, and politically.  Attended and graduated from Lloyd Street Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High School and Dominican High School.  Earned Bachelor of Arts and MBA degrees from Marquette University.  Professionally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, and ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt.  

Broad-based background in labor relations and human resources management includes public and private sector experience.  Positions held with Milwaukee Area Technical College and the City of Milwaukee included work in labor contract administration and collective bargaining.   Forayed into private sector with Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, Illinois, holding roles focused on employee relations, diversity, affirmative action compliance, and best practice metrics.  Recently joined Oldenburg Group, Incorporated in Glendale, Wisconsin as Manager of Corporate Benefits and Legal Compliance.

Leadership and community involvement has included serving on the board of a non-profit organization, lobbying on a national level for TRIO programs, volunteering as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and working with Habitat Milwaukee.

Lifelong member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee.  Dedicated to developing fluency in French and Spanish.  Huge jazz enthusiast and patronage supporter of the performing arts.
