Brett Kell is a public relations representative at Cardinal Stritch University and is co-chair of Stritch’s Staff Development Committee. He is chairman of the board of directors of the Young Professionals of Suburban Milwaukee, a non-profit networking organization, and also serves as its Marketing Committee chair. Brett is managing editor of Eye.D Magazine, an online publication dedicated to celebrating the diverse experiences of Asian-Americans. In addition, he serves on the public relations and marketing committee for TYME OUT Youth Center, a ministry dedicated to the faith formation and character development of young people, and on the Leadership Committee of the Milwaukee Drug-Free Communities program. In 2006 and 2007, he received a Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications for print feature writing. As a freelance writer, Brett has contributed to various publications, web sites and media. He has been a professional picture framer for six years and is also a published poet and member of the Academy of American Poets. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from UW-Milwaukee and a master’s in Management from Stritch, for which he wrote a thesis on corporate social responsibility in the fast food industry.
